A Rental-Ready ADU Built for Smart Living

At OMNI General Construction, we know that an ADU isn’t just an addition—it’s an opportunity. For this young homeowner in Los Angeles, building a brand-new ADU was a strategic step toward creating passive income and maximizing the value of his property.

We designed and built a 1,200-square-foot, two-story ADU from the ground up with all the essentials for comfort, functionality, and long-term rental appeal. The layout includes 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, thoughtfully arranged with 1 bedroom on the first floor and 2 bedrooms on the second, offering flexibility for future tenants or extended family.

Modern Touches for Today’s Renter

The interior was finished with clean white shaker-style cabinetry for a bright, timeless look, while ceiling fans in every bedroom and the living area help keep the space cool and comfortable year-round. Each bathroom features a shower/bath combination, giving renters options without sacrificing style or space.

Practicality was key in this build: integrated washer/dryer hookups were installed inside the unit, and a 64-square-foot balcony offers private outdoor space on the upper level. With long-term savings and sustainability in mind, we added a tankless water heater and solar panels, making this ADU energy efficient and cost-effective.
